Aeon Tech Solutions supplies precision-engineered discharge electrodes for Electrostatic Precipitators. These electrodes are designed around the required corona-generating geometry, mechanical configuration and ESP operating conditions.
Different discharge-electrode configurations can be supplied for new installations, replacement requirements and retrofit applications, subject to customer drawings, OEM specifications and project requirements.
A section across one gas passage, gas flowing into the page. The blue glow is the corona — the visible ionisation at the electrode surface that gives the dust its charge. Discharge electrode charges; collecting electrode collects.
Corona intensity, ion density and migration are shown schematically to explain the process. Actual field behaviour depends on the ESP design, gas conditions and applied voltage.
Corona-generating geometry differs between configurations, and so does the mechanical arrangement that carries it. The right choice follows the precipitator design, the electrode spacing and what the existing installation was built around.
Electrode configurations can be supplied or developed according to customer drawings, OEM specifications and ESP design requirements.
The illustrations above are schematic representations of electrode families for identification and discussion. Manufactured geometry follows the approved drawing or the sample supplied for a given order.
Engineered Spiral Profiles for ESP Applications
Spiral electrodes are a specialised discharge-electrode configuration used in certain ESP designs. The continuous helical geometry presents a corona-emitting profile along the whole active length of the electrode, rather than at discrete points.
The exact geometry, pitch, diameter, length and mounting arrangement depend on the ESP design and on the field the electrode is being fitted into.
Spiral discharge electrodes are manufactured to suit the specific electrical and mechanical requirements of the ESP. Geometry and dimensions can be configured according to customer/OEM drawings and application requirements.
A discharge electrode has to hold its corona geometry and its alignment through thermal cycling, rapping shock and whatever the gas stream contains. Material selection depends on:
Aeon Tech Solutions can supply according to the specified design and material requirements.
Discharge electrodes are defined by the field they hang in — the passage width, the suspension arrangement, the energisation and the dust being handled. Nothing below is a stock figure, and we would rather work from your drawing or a sample than guess.
Send What You Have →{{ f.d }}
Share your existing ESP drawing, electrode dimensions, photographs, sample or OEM details with our technical team. Aeon Tech Solutions can evaluate the requirement and provide a suitable electrode manufacturing solution.
Fill in what you know. Blank fields are fine — a drawing, a sample photograph or the electrode dimensions off an existing unit will usually get us further than a full form.
