Overview

Wire mesh trays, accessories, supports and underground protection.

At Aeon Tech Solutions, cable management is one of our core focus areas. We specialise in wire mesh (basket) cable trays — a modern alternative to conventional perforated and ladder-type trays — along with the accessories, supports, and underground cable protection systems needed to complete a full cable routing solution.

Our systems are used across data centres, power and process plants, commercial buildings, railways, and infrastructure projects, wherever reliable, low-maintenance cable containment is critical.

The problem

Cables will find their own route unless you give them one.

Every added circuit that goes in without containment costs something later: nobody can trace a fault, nothing can be added without disturbing what is already there, heat has nowhere to go, and the whole bundle becomes a fire and rodent risk.

Containment is cheap at the design stage and expensive to retrofit. This is the work we are here to do.

Why Wire Mesh Cable Trays

Conventional trays create the problems. Mesh solves them by design.

Conventional cable trays (perforated sheet and ladder type) require heavy support structures, on-site welding and cutting, and are prone to sharp edges that damage cables and injure installers.

10×

Up to 10x faster installation — no welding, cutting, or grinding required on site.

70–80%

Lighter than conventional trays, reducing the load on support structures and cable racks.

3

Only 3 accessories (connector, screw, and connecting tab) are needed to build almost any configuration — straight runs, bends, risers, and branches.

SAFETY

No sharp edges — safer for cables and for installation crews.

THERMAL

Excellent ventilation — open mesh design keeps cables cool and allows easy inspection and cleaning.

ROUTING

Free-form routing — the mesh can be shaped on site with a simple cutting tool, so no pre-engineered bends, tees, or elbows are needed.

RELIABILITY

No hidden spaces for pests or rodents, unlike enclosed trays — reducing the risk of short circuits and fire caused by rodent damage.

500 kg

Per welded cross junction on the grades we supply — a light structure that still carries a full cable load between supports.

LOGISTICS

Trays nest into each other, so a full site quantity ships and stores in a fraction of the space a sheet tray needs.

PROJECT COST

Significant cost savings across labour, logistics, storage, and accessories compared to conventional tray systems.

Product Range

The tray, and the three parts that build any run.

Galvanised wire mesh basket trays nested and bundled in standard lengths Wire Mesh (Basket) Cable Trays Available in multiple widths and heights to suit light, medium, and heavy cable loads, with safe working loads engineered for typical support spans. Supplied in standard 3-metre lengths.

Size Chart

Seven widths, two collar heights.

Trays are supplied in standard 3 metre lengths. Width is selected from the cable schedule and the fill you want to leave for future circuits; collar height is selected from the number of layers and the support span.

100 mm to 600 mm. Intermediate and wider sizes on request.

55 mm Single layer runs — data, control and instrumentation cable.
105 mm Deeper runs — heavier power cable, multiple layers, spare capacity.

Built to Handle Corrosion

Pay for the protection level your site actually needs.

Cable trays are exposed to a wide range of environments — indoor, outdoor, marine, chemical, and offshore — each with different corrosion risks.

We help customers select the right grade based on site conditions, so trays deliver a long service life without over-specifying cost.

Material / Finish Typical Use
Electro-Zinc (EZ) plated General indoor use, buildings, factories, data centres
Hot Dip Galvanised (HDG) Outdoor, humid, and wet environments
Stainless Steel 304 Chemical exposure, food & beverage industry
Stainless Steel 316 Offshore, marine, high-salinity, and acid environments
Epoxy Coated Indoor and outdoor use, added aesthetic and anti-corrosion finish
Fire Safety For applications where fire resistance is a code requirement — emergency circuits, tunnels and critical infrastructure — we can supply cable tray systems tested to recognised fire-resistance standards, so power and control cables continue to function during a fire event.
Installed

Formed on site, not pre-engineered.

Bends, tees, risers and drops are cut and shaped from straight lengths with a hand tool, using the same three accessories throughout. These are trays we have supplied into raised floors, plant rooms, production halls and outdoor plant.
